How to measure your feet:

Please keep in mind that every 6 mm is approximately one size, so 12 mm is the equivalent of approx. 2 sizes!
For children under 18 months, especially if they are taking their first steps, the shoes must be a maximum of 7 mm larger - 6 mm is recommended - and for children over 2 years old who already walk easily, we suggest ordering slippers with 7-10 mm bigger.

*Our shoes are handmade. Thus, size differences of up to 2 mm may occur.

01.Prepare and Trace Your Foot

Measure your feet at the end of the day — they naturally swell and are slightly larger.
Place a sheet of paper next to the wall. Place your foot (without socks) on the paper with the heel against the wall and trace its outline with the pen held perfectly vertically.

02.Measure Foot Length/Width

Draw a line from the middle of the heel to the longest point of the contour and measure it (this is the length of the contour).

03.Measure Foot Circumference

Draw a line from the base of the thumb (next to the mount) to the base of the little finger and measure it (this is the width of the outline).

FAQ about measurement and sizes

Because each pair is handmade, sizes can vary slightly from one model to another. Below you'll find answers to the most common questions about picking the right size.

Are LANG.S sizes the same for all models?

+

Sizes can vary by up to 2 mm between models because each pair is handmade. The size charts in the guide are specific to each model or model group. Check the chart mentioned on the product page in order to find the right size.

Can I return the footwear if the size doesn't fit?

+

You can return unworn products within 30 days of receipt according to our return policy. Check the Return Policy page for complete details about the process and applicable conditions.

How do I choose between two sizes if my measurements are borderline?

+

Take the larger size if your measurement is very close to the upper limit of a size. Each 6 mm represents approximately one size, so the difference is significant. For wider widths or wide feet, choose the more generous size for comfort.

How much larger should I order footwear for children?

+

For children under 18 months or taking their first steps, order a maximum of 7 mm larger (6 mm recommended). For children over 2 years who walk easily, you can order 7-10 mm larger than the actual foot measurement.

What Our Customers Say

Discover why our barefoot shoes are loved by thousands of happy customers

They are very comfortable and of excellent quality. I wear them almost every day without pain. Keep in mind that the inner leather discolors a bit during the first wears, so you should wear dark socks for about a week until the pigment fades. It’s NOT an intense discoloration and does not affect the product’s quality — this happens when the leather is not chemically treated to retain pigment.

Florin P. - review ONYX Navy

I ordered size 38, with my foot length measured exactly at 25 cm. At first they felt a bit tight, but since the leather is soft, it stretched slightly and now they fit perfectly (worn with the extra insole). For models with stiffer leather, I think I’ll order size 39. They seem high-quality and very comfortable. Being my first pair of barefoot shoes, I wear them only with the extra insole. The difference from regular footwear is noticeable — I haven’t gone on long walks yet, but I think I’ll get more used to them over time.

Valeria T. - review RUBY Almond

The shoes are flexible, comfortable, lightweight, and hold up well in wet weather.

Oti - review ONYX Pink

I bought them at the beginning of this year and I love them! They’re so comfortable right from the first wear, and I really like how they look. It was my first purchase from Lang.S, and I was a bit worried about the sizing, but by following the size chart, I managed to order the perfect size.

Laura - review WILLOW Brown

Very comfortable and resistant to light rain. They also perform well on snow.
