După lungi căutări alături de meșterii Tikki®, am găsit alternativa ideală pentru a Inlocui pielea naturală a sandalelor noastre cu un material complet ecologic. Mereu Incercăm să fim cu un pas mai aproape de natură!
De ce am ales pluta? Dintre toate materialele de până acum, pluta s-a dovedit a fi un material foarte rezistent, extrem de ușor și impermeabil. Pentru a vă oferi și puțin context, ea este obținută din scoarța stejarului de plută, odată ce acesta ajunge la maturitate. Procesul este delicat, nu afectează copacul, iar scoarța se regenerează In totalitate. Pluta este recunoscută pentru abilitatea de a absorbi vibrațiile și orice undă de șoc. Asemeni unei perne de aer, pluta ia forma piciorului chiar după prima purtare.
Spre deosebire de Lasta clasic, la acest model am folosit o căptușeală sintetică din microfibră de calitate, antibacteriană, care nu generează miros. In plus, capacitatea sa de termo-reglare asigură un confort maxim și un interior perfect uscat. Branțul din piele tăbăcită vegetal a fost și el Inlocuit cu unul din material sintetic, mai moale și anti-derapant.
Noile sandale Lasta CORK sunt gândite să ofere micuților mai multă libertate de mișcare! Atât de ușor de Incălțat, Incât vor uita că le au In picioare. Ne bucurăm nespus că am găsit un material care merge mână In mână cu toate caracteristicile barefoot care ne reprezintă - lejeritate absolută și flexibilitate, greutate foarte mică, grijă completă pentru pielea piciorului, suport temeinic pentru dezvoltarea sănătoasă și naturală a mersului.
ProTip: Sandalele Lasta CORK nu sunt doar foarte rezistente, ci și extrem de ușor de curățat!

How to measure your feet:
1. Place a piece of paper against a wall. Place the foot (without socks) on the paper, with the heel against the wall, and trace the toes and the sides of your foot, with the pen held perfectly vertical.
2. Trace a line from the middle of the heel (the paper edge) until the longest point of the contour, and measure (that is contour length - line a. from the photo)
3. Trace a line from the "bunion" until under the little toe and measure (that is contour width - line b. from the photo)
4. Measure the circumference (c. from the photo) as shown below and note it down.
How to choose the correct size?
We do not recommend you to order exclusively by age or EU size, as these are merely indicative, the best thing to do is measure the child's foot.
Place the baby foot on a flat surface (the foot must be flattened by the body weight) and measure with a tape line or ruler the distance between the thumb and the back of the heel. For children under 18 months we recommend shoes MAXIMUM 0.7 cm longer than the foot, and for older children who already walk confidently, you can order shoes with a sole approximately 0.7-1 cm longer than the foot, to ensure optimum comfort and longer wearing.
Please have in mind that each 0.5cm is the equivalent to 1 size, so 1cm means 2 sizes!

We care a lot about the crafting process for each pair of Lang.S/Tikki shoes and equally about every step you take in maintaining them. Here is a list of instructions to follow if you want your beautiful shoes to last you longer and better:

Avoid washing them in machines: washing your shoes in machines can damage the material and structure. Try to maintain your shoes as new only by cleaning them locally, manually, with the products recommended by us.

Dry them properly: after cleaning, shoes should be allowed to dry slowly at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators, hair dryers or direct sunlight. All of these can deform or damage the shoes.

Use proper cleaning products: try to only use specialized cleaning products. Avoid harsh chemicals like bleach or any solvent-based products, they can irreversibly harm the shoes.

Cleaning your shoes regularly: clean them regularly to remove dirt and prevent long-term accumulation. For leather shoes, use a special brush or cloth, and for textile shoes, a gentle hand wash would be more appropriate.

Protect your pairs from harsh conditions: avoid exposing shoes to extreme conditions like excessive heat or moisture, both can lead to material damage or ungluing of the soles.

Store them correctly: a cool, dry place will do just fine. Avoid cramped conditions which can misshape them. Maybe you could put them away in boxes?

Alternate wearing: Rotate your shoes regularly to allow them to air out, which helps prevent odors or/and moisture buildup.

Care for suede shoes? Here is a tip: clean them gently with a soft cloth or a specially designed suede brush. Don’t do it too often, though. Only when dirt builds up because suede is a delicate material.

Avoid rough surfaces: be cautious of walking on abrasive surfaces that can scratch or scuff the soles and upper part of the shoes. Unfortunately, the warranty does not cover damage resulting from poor roads, footpaths or pavements, or from using the footwear on other rough, abrasive or corrosive surfaces.

Our footwear is not suitable for extreme sports activities, on vehicles or bicycles without pedals. We recommend you avoid them while wearing us.
